The first International E-Waste Day has been set for October 13th. Events and campaigns for the day aim to promote the correct disposal of electrical and electronic equipment throughout the world.
Sunnking is posting e-recycling topics everyday on our social media outlets during the week leading up to October 13th. Our first topic was where to recycle electronics in our region. You can check out this infographic on where to take devices that are especially hard to recycle (mostly due to hazardous waste within them), including batteries, smoke detectors, CRT TVs, and freon containing items.
Lastly, learn the ins and outs of why it’s important to choose a certified responsible e-recycler in another one of our blog posts.
